Legoland brings back Lego Festival for summer school holidays
The world's largest Lego Festival returns to Legoland Windsor Resort this summer, featuring interactive zones, building challenges, and themed treats.
Creative fun returns to Legoland this summer
Families across Surrey and beyond have plenty to celebrate as the world's largest Lego Festival makes its return to Legoland Windsor Resort for a second consecutive year. Running throughout the summer holidays from July 20 to August 31, this vibrant celebration of creativity and play promises to keep children entertained during the break.
The festival-style experience is designed to spark imagination and self-expression, giving children the chance to play and build together. Upon arrival, guests receive a colourful Lego Festival wristband and map that unlock the full experience, marking them as official festival-goers ready to explore the park.
Five zones of activity and entertainment
The heart of the festival lies in its five interactive zones. Music, Creative and Chill Out Zones return with new content for returning visitors, whilst the Thrill and Play Zones introduce fresh headliners. Each zone offers something different, ensuring there's entertainment for all ages and interests.
Guests can take on the 3 Build Challenge, collecting stamps on their festival map as they conquer each zone. Throughout the day, families can enjoy hands-on brick-building activities, family challenges, and admire photo-worthy Lego models. Live shows provide additional entertainment, and there are plenty of opportunities to meet Lego characters in person.
Cool treats for hot days
When the summer heat becomes too much, the festival offers special refreshments. The festival exclusive Brick Ice Lolly is available in three different flavours, alongside other frozen treats. Wizard's Frozen Wonders, located inside the fairytale Knight's Kingdom, serves up scoops, milkshakes, and build-your-own sundaes to keep everyone cool throughout the day.
Shopping and admission
The huge Lego Store is on hand for families wanting to browse the latest sets featured across the zones and pick up exclusive merchandise to extend the fun at home. The good news for visitors is that festival access is included with standard admission to the resort, with prices starting at £32 per person. Children under 90cm enter free.
Neil Poulter, vice president at Legoland Windsor Resort, expressed enthusiasm for the festival's return: "We're delighted to welcome Lego Festival back to Legoland Windsor Resort for a second year. It's designed as a vibrant multi-area experience around the park, where children lead the way through play – with dedicated zones, build activities, live moments and plenty of chances to meet Lego characters. And because it sits within the wider resort experience, families can mix epic festival activities with rides and attractions throughout the day."
With its blend of creative activities, entertainment, and iconic Lego experiences, the festival offers families a memorable way to spend their summer holidays.
