Creative fun returns to Legoland this summer

Great news for families in and around Surrey – the Lego Festival is making its much-anticipated return to Legoland Windsor Resort this summer. Running throughout the school holidays from July 20 to August 31, this vibrant festival-style experience is designed to spark creativity and self-expression whilst giving children the chance to play and build together.

Five zones of interactive fun

The festival features five dedicated interactive zones packed with activities and entertainment. Returning favourites include the Music, Creative and Chill Out Zones, all with brand-new content, whilst exciting new additions come to the Thrill and Play Zones. This means there's something fresh to discover whether you're visiting for the first time or coming back for more brick-building adventures.

How the festival experience works

When you arrive, each guest receives a colourful Lego Festival wristband and map, marking them as an official festival goer. Throughout the day, families can participate in the 3 Build Challenge, collecting stamps on their map as they conquer each zone. Beyond the challenges, there are hands-on brick-building activities, family challenges, and plenty of photo-worthy Lego models to discover. Live shows and the chance to meet Lego characters in real life add extra magic to the experience.

Festival-exclusive treats and food

With summer weather in mind, the resort has introduced special festival-themed refreshments. The highlight is the exclusive Brick Ice Lolly, available in three different flavours – perfect for keeping cool whilst exploring. For those wanting more substantial treats, Wizard's Frozen Wonders in the Knight's Kingdom offers scoops, milkshakes, and build-your-own sundaes. There's a wide variety of frozen treats available across the park to suit all tastes.

Shopping and souvenirs

Families can extend the fun at home by visiting the huge Lego Store within the resort, where you can browse the latest sets featured across all the zones and pick up exclusive merchandise. It's a great way to keep the creative play going long after your festival visit ends.

Affordable family day out

The best part? Festival admission is included with standard resort entry. Tickets start from just £32 per person, and children under 90cm tall can enter free. This makes it an accessible option for families looking for a special summer outing.

Neil Poulter, vice president at Legoland Windsor Resort, shared the park's excitement about welcoming the festival back: "We're delighted to welcome Lego Festival back to Legoland Windsor Resort for a second year. It's designed as a vibrant multi-area experience around the park, where children lead the way through play, with dedicated zones, build activities, live moments and plenty of chances to meet Lego characters. And because it sits within the wider resort experience, families can mix epic festival activities with rides and attractions throughout the day."
